YOUR HOME TOWN RIDDELL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jamar Ransom (6-0, 230, Oklahoma State) set a single-game Talons record with three interceptions in San Antonio’s 57-33 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators in Week 9. He returned two of the interceptions for touchdowns. The fourth-year pro also collected 7.5 tackles, a sack and two tackles for a loss in the game. SAN ANTONIO – Perseverance from the Talons offense proved the difference Saturday night, as the San Antonio Talons (3-4) overcame a contest filled with turnovers and interceptions to take down the Jacksonville Sharks (6-2) with a score of 34-30 giving them just their second loss of the season. Xavier Lee and D.J. Stephens worked together to produce a dual threat to Jacksonville’s defense.
